You've been offline for a while. I hope all's well. You're blog, provocative at times, reports up to date info accurately regarding what is occurring in Melancthon Township and important points beyond and I miss it.
Things are well and thank you for the compliment. I have to say that while you might miss the blog, there are several politicans and one antiquated reporter who do not miss it one little bit.
While the blog made ME feel better, by venting, I am not sure it was really changing attitudes or council's direction. It was more preaching to the converted.
There certainly is a element of preaching to the converted in your blog, but I would suggest that is a lot more than that. You inform, bringing aspects and facts of the bigger picture to light that those of us, less well connected, or less insightful would miss. I think you do a service to those in Melancthon who care about their township, and the health of the community. You also stir up the pot, and get people thinking and talking. Often with a sense of humour, but always with a powerful note of conviction and common sense. This is good. Maybe, once in a while you connect with someone new to the issue, and perhaps even sway opinion. I too miss your writings.
