His mother in law Frances Schultz is also deceased.
He has a brother Michael who is a lawyer.
Michael and his wife, who is also a lawyer, live in Julia Child's former home.
His wife's sisters are named Deborah and Ruth.
Growing up he and his brother each had a cat and his was named Phoebus. His brother's cat was named Percy.
