MASTER OF SPIN

I will have to make apologies to Daniher, spokesperson for all that is Highland Companies.
I have found a better spin Dr.

This quote is from BP Oils own website, dated June 10, 2010:

"BP notes the fall in its share price in US trading last night. The company is not aware of any reason which justifies this share price movement. "

Gee, maybe the price fall was caused by this:

What does this have to do with Highlands?

Well big oil and big aggregate all use the same playbook.

Lobby, throw money at political parties, get cozy with local politicans, use the same phrase, trust us, we know what we are doing. They produce glossy handouts, slick powerpoints, professional websites and then watch the money roll in. When things go wrong, they still use the same playbook.

And so do the politicians, saying things like well, they are the experts, they will fix it. Not sure how you fix what BP is doing to the world's environment and not sure how Highlands will be able to fix resultant water problems when they tap into the acquifer that services more than 1 million Ontarians.
