The May 31, 2010 blog read:
Someone ask on the blog which candidates attended the NDACT fundraiser on the weekend.Sources have provided the following information and if I have missed anyone, please comment anon and I will update any names that I have missed. Remember these are declared ones only.I have listed them numerically and alphabetically so you might want to get a pen and paper handy so you can record them all:1) Wayne Hannon
I presumed this commenter was asking about Melancthon candidates.
What this should have said was the only Melancthon candidate that attended the NDACT fundraiser who is declared WAS Wayne Hannon.
NDACT did however have twice as much political representation from Mulmur in the form of Mayor Gord Montgomery and Deputy Mayor Sue Snider.
I believe their attendance was very much appreciated by NDACT and all Mulmur and Melancthon ratepayers.
Clearly, Mulmur and Melancthon need to amalgamate and then we can just elect in the politicians who DO care about the water, loss of agriculture and heritage.
So if we are voting people in based on their presence at the NDACT fundraiser alone, we should vote for....all together now, Wayne Hannon, Gord Montgomery and Sue Snider.
And again, these are the politicians that have declared who's presence at the NDACT fundraiser on May 29 was reported to this blogger. If I am missing anyone, just post an anon comment (and they ARE anon) and I will stand corrected, yet again..
Bart Malloy candidate for Melancthon, his wife and daughter did attend the NDACT fund raiser, on May 31,2010. It was later in the day, that is presumably how he was missed.

Hmmm....I'm not so sure about that Mulmur pair's records...doubt if one showing at even an ndact function would make them deserving of re-election.
ReplyDeleteAnd how in the hell do you know what their record is? Mulmur is clearly not a leader in transparency and accountability. Just checked their website. Their June 1 agenda is posted, but no supporting documentation. How do you know what is on the agenda? M(c2) should be looking into this and making it an election issue. If the Clerk/CAO is the Luddite/problem someone should remind him that there have been several amendments to the Municipal Act since he was born. Perhaps he should be checking out about this new fangled thing called transparency....and the internt....
ReplyDeleteYou are certainly biased in your blogging. You did not mention that Michael Daniher of the Highland Companies was at the NDACT event.
ReplyDeleteand he was asked to leave
