This will be good news for our Mulmur ratepayers....you know, the ones with the view....and the money to fight Highlands....The OMB considered a "Summary of Affected Views and Landscape Change" report prepared of course by the proponent, which concluded that after all phases were complete and the farmscape demolished that:
"while the quarry project proposes changes....the proposed plans will retain many existing heritage features of the site, its vegetation, circulation, spatial order and views and integrate these elments into the new development"
The OMB's findings with respect to this report?
"The Board finds these assertions to be astounding and unsupported by the evidence contained in James Dicks' Visual Impact Report."
