DO THE PCS DESERVE YOUR VOTE IN DUFFERIN CALEDON?

Gravel Watch's question to all leaders in the October 6 provincial election:

Will your party commit to undertaking a comprehensive and transparent review of the aggregate policy and regulatory framework in Ontario if you were to form the next Provincial Government?

...in a nutshell, lots of verbage from everyone except the conservatives who's official message was:  declined to answer.

If you think Sylvia deserves YOUR vote, please read this again and again.

  1. Do the PC's deserve my vote? Certainly not.
Can McGuinty be trusted? Quote "an environmental assessment would be applied to the Melancthon quarry" unquote. Shouldn't he be saying "an environmental assessment WILL be applied to the PROPOSED Melancthon quarry". He's a slippery snake performing his usual dance, it's a known fact that McGuinty has been conspiring with Highland for years. Do I believe that he is going to turn around and work towards blocking it? Not on your Nelly.
As usual, it's a choice for the lesser of two evils, hence, this is not a choice.

  2. McGuinty cannot be trusted. Their announcements are only being made because of the election. Please don't fall into the trap. The Liberals will also continue the budget debt situation and do we really want more taxes, more windmills, more lies? PCs have a more sound debt plan at least but struggle with their bad history. I wish the Greens had any kind of plan and the NDP choice for this area is someone with no experience. Frustrating.

  3. I wish I didn't agree with 11:40, but I do. Highland has played its evil game so wisely, and both McGuinty and Hudek now have interests that have nothing to do with the well-being or the future of Ontario's farmland or water. Scares the hell outta me.
