THE AGENDA
Did anyone notice last night on the Agenda last night that when the Highlands rep, Johh Scherer, smiled he looked like this:
He should be less worried about the hair - terrible toupee by the way- and more worried about his facial expressions, since it looks like he will be doing alot of media trying to explain this asinine idea.

Maybe I've got it wrong, but Highland and H&K are being quite smart using Mr. Scherer since he's the great foil. When asked a pointed question, his face goes into smile mode, and he trots out some platitude. He doesn't get ruffled when someone attempts to pull his chain. So he is going to drive the oponents of the quarry mad with frustration until you've learned how to engage him and get him to lose his cool. If he ever does that I suspect Highland and H&K will find another actor for the part.

ReplyDeleteSheldon is one of the characters in the TV show "The Big Bang". He's awkward and goofy and has NO idea how to communicate with people, but even so, comparing him to John Scherer is an insult to Sheldon. The same way putting Seth Klarman's head on a turkey was an insult to turkeys.....

I could forgive you for not knowing ALl about the quarry or that Daniher the previous Highland spokesperson was a twtichy mess or that the current spokesperson who appeared on Paiken is a Barney Rubble Double, but to NOT know who SHELDON is? That is like living in the 70's and not knowing who the Fonz is......I feel so sad.
