Well Mayor Robbing Adams (Orangeville Mayor & County Councillor) seems to be opposed to the County investigating the possibility of leasing the rail bed to Dufferin Wind for their transmission lines.
“It’d be totally inappropriate for us to go off half-cocked and do anything without having the feedback of our solicitors,” interjected Orangeville Mayor Rob Adams.

Would that throw a wrench into Robbings bottom bunk mate- Highland Rail Corporation (aka same people involved with the Melancthon Mega Quarry)- purchasing the rail bed.
And if that goes off the rails (sorry about the pun) that means Highlands will no longer pay Robbings/Orangeville's $500,000 annual tax bill on Robbings ill-fated economic development solution which was....
All togethter now.....to purchase the rail line in the first place.
