THIS ISN'T ENCOURAGING

I sincerely hope that Highlands are better water managers than they are farmers, or we are all in BIG, BIG trouble.

Pics of Highlands bountiful crops growing in Melancthon:

  3. I think there should be a little sign on the property in the middle photo that says "Potatoes--Watch them Grow. Or not."

  6. OK, Anonymous 8:01 p.m....I e-mailed Highlands and they assured me that not only will the water in my well be BETTER if the quarry goes through, it will be full of magic potion that will help me live forever. They also told me that if I plant beans at the bottom of the quarry after they've blasted-out all the limestone, they will grow so high they'll reach a magic castle where I will find untold treasures. I am SO excited now, I've applied to help dig the hole....

  7. 8:01 what planet are you from? A picture is worth a thousand words...those are shitty looking potatoes... if Highlands can't manage their "world class potato farm" how the hell will they manage Canada's deepest aggregate mine?! They are neither farmers nor miners.
And the statement "no one trusts minebuster" is an outright lie...so obviously YOU work for Highlands because lying is what they do best.

  8. I believe these fields are on County Road 21 between the 5th line of Melancthon and County Road 124.
