He provides ongoing environmental program management support to Parmalat Canada, Hershey Canada and the City of Ottawa's biosolids management program.

    I think the Township would rather have Highland own the land!

    They are about to take a $250,000/year tax loss, with the new "Canadian" owner.

    Wonder what they think of that?

    Melancthon won't be "losing" $250,000 a year. That additional taxation that Highlands paid (because they were an American company, not Canadian) was a winfall for a few years and Council should have managed their money better instead of paying $100,000 a year to a planner to produce a now 8 year old overdue Official Plan. They wouldn't have received that money anyway when highlands started blasting.

    You better be around at the next budget meeting then if you think the township managed their money!!! LMAO

    If you really think they are going to handle a $250,000 tax reduction without coughing up a lung, I dont think so.
