The organizations and businesses at this link are working diligently to put Food and Water First, please support them

This one isn't

(In a nutshell, this crap company, will be transporting offal and human waste and god knows what else, in tarp covered trucks to a facility in Dundalk, adjacent to a school and residential area and their "product" will be spread on farmland, but NOT on land on which root crops can be grown or on which livestock meant for human consumption, will graze...)

And if you would like to bombard, ask them why they are using the Food and Water First logo, which is a slap in the face to anyone who worked to Stop the Quarry and anyone who has now signed on to the Food and Water First initiative, please send those cards and letters to:

  1. Anonymous07 June, 2013'd rather this reusable material fill up landfill space? I'm sure you and your NIMBY crew would be the first to protest a landfill as well.

  2. Anonymous07 June, 2013

There is no moral reason why the people of Grey County should be forced to accept, against their will, a torrent of sewage sludge from Toronto. NIMBY, in this case is not a character flaw, it's just good judgement.

Man, does the word NIMBY ever piss me off. People who use it during these types of situations still don't freakin' GET IT. WE NEED TO KEEP OUR WATER SAFE. MUCH of the water that flows in the aquifirs in these comminities flows down towards Toronto, it's the essence of our survival. This "reusable material" sends contaminants into the earth and pollutes the water and soil that covers large areas, rendering it useless for growing food AND/OR drinking. Fighting greedy companies like Lystek isn't about NIMBYism. And anyone who thinks it is needs to get informed. Fast.

10 June 2013, I think you are the most misinformed person going. Stop going to your NIMBY pep rallies and stop believing what the loonies tell you.

I wish opposition groups were held responsible for the crap they spread.
